Jeff Jansen, author, pastor and the founder of Global Fire Ministries, died this week unexpectedly. He was 59.
His passing was announced on social media by his children, who did not reveal a cause of death. Jansen was pastor of Fatherâs House 360 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Previously, he served as pastor of Global Fire Church, also in Murfreesboro.
âIt is with heavy hearts that we announce that our Dad, Jeff Jansen, has gone home to be with The Lord,â an Instagram post read. âOur Dadâs legacy will be remembered as one of passion for the Gospel, for Godâs people, and for the Nations of the World.â
The family will hold a celebration of life Monday at the Springhouse Worship and Arts Center in Smyrna, Tenn. The funeral will take place Tuesday.
Jansenâs children thanked the faith community for their âoverwhelming supportâ in response to the news.
âWhile we are devastated with the loss, it has been truly uplifting to witness first hand how many lives Dad has impacted over the years,â another post said.
Last year, Jansen stepped down as pastor of Global Fire Ministries due to what the organization called âunscriptural and unbiblical behavior.â
Jansen was among a group of self-described prophets who maintained that President Biden was not legitimately elected and that Donald Trump would be re-installed prior to the 2024 election. Trump, he said in 2021, will have âback-to-backâ terms.
In Jansenâs last Instagram post before passing, he criticized the FBIâs search of Trumpâs residence.
âIâve been underground for the last few months on social media as the Lord directed me to stay quiet,â Jansen wrote. âWELL!!! Time for quiet is over!!!! The fact that the FBI raided Mar-A-Lago yesterday is the gasoline on the fire. Watch what happens in the next few days and weeks as deep@state continues to crumble and âWE THE PEOPLEâ emerge in this nation as the victors. This is the tale of two Presidents ⊠one legit and the other an imposter. Its time for American Justice in Jesus name.â
