America, in concert, Saturday April 15^th at The Blaisdell Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m.  See the legendary band, America, as they celebrate their 53rd Anniversary by coming to the islands.  Founding members Gerry Beckley, Dewey Burnell and the late Dan Peek were barely out of high school when they first made a splash in the British folk-rock scene as America. Not only did they score an international hit with “A Horse With No Name,” but they took home the 1972 Grammy for Best New Musical Artist. A string of additional hits would follow, including “Ventura Highway,” “Daisy Jane,” “Tin Man” and “Lonely People.”
