Bruce Springsteen Addresses Ticket Pricing

Fans have been upset for a few months after reports that some tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on their upcoming tour were priced at $5k each, and he says he told his team to do what “everybody else is doing” on pricing. He says that “most of our tickets are totally affordable.”

Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau said in a statement that “our true average ticket price has been in the mid-$200 range,” which he calls “a fair price to see someone universally regarded as among the very greatest artists of his generation.” Springsteen told fans, “If there’s any complaints on the way out, you can have your money back.”
