Bruce Springsteen’s Manager Defends Dynamic Pricing

We told you earlier this week that fans were outraged when they missed out on tickets to Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band tour thanks to Ticketmaster’s “Dynamic Pricing, and now Bruce’s manager has weighed in on the controversy with an “other people are doing it” defense of the pricing.

“In pricing tickets for this tour, we looked carefully at what our peers have been doing,” Springsteen manager Jon Landau said in a statement, continuing “We chose prices that are lower than some and on par with others.” Ticketmaster says the average price of all tickets sold in the first three days of sales was $262.
