Donna Summer Documentary Gets HBO Premiere Date

Disco legend Donna Summer is finally getting her due. The “Last Dance” hitmaker is the subject of a new HBO documentary, “Love To Love You, Donna Summer.”
HBO says the doc will be "an in-depth look at the iconic artist as she creates music that takes her from the avant-garde music scene in Germany, to the glitter and bright lights of dance clubs in New York, to worldwide acclaim, her voice becoming the defining soundtrack of an era." The film made the rounds at festivals like the Berlin International Film Festival and SXSW.
Summer died in 2012 at the age of 63 from lung cancer. “Love To Love You, Donna Summer” will drop on HBO on May 20th.
