JIMMY BUFFETT'S BAND PLANS TO KEEP ROCKING

More than one month after his death, Jimmy Buffett’s band has confirmed they’re going to keep on rocking. The Coral Reefer Band announced that, per Buffett’s wishes, they will “keep the party going.”

“Jimmy wants us to continue and we want to continue,” said singer/guitarist Mac McAnally. The musician admits there are issues to wade through, but he says “we’re going to figure it out and we’re going to do something… because we miss being out there.”

The stacked band also includes keyboardist Michael Utley, steel drummer Robert Greenridge, guitarist/singer Peter Mayer, bassist Jim Mayer, drummer Robert Guth, steel pedal guitarist Doyle Grisham, trumpeter John Lovell, percussionist Eric Darken, and singers Tina Gullickson and Nadirah Shakoor. Buffett’s final album with the Coral Reefer Band, “Equal Strain On All Parts,” is due this week.
