Mariah Carey Puts The "Christmas" Spirit Back In The Billboard Hot 100

Hot Chocolate, twinkling lights, and Mariah Carey taking over the airwaves. Is there anything more iconic for Christmas? “All I Want For Christmas is You” by Carey has burst onto the Billboard Hot 100 yet again at number 36 on the list. This marks the songs first sighting of the year on the Billboard Hot 100, but certainly not its last.

The song, originally released in 1994, has only become more popular each passing year. The hit song finally grabbed the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019. In 2020 it spent two weeks at the top of the chart, and in 2021 it spent a full three weeks in the number one spot. Will we see it reign in the number one spot for a full four weeks this year?

As Carey has shown for over two decades now, her hit Christmas single is a mainstay during the holidays.
