Sly Stone Reveals Upcoming Memoir

Sly Stone, perhaps best known as the frontman for Sly And The Family Stone, is set to release a tell-all novel. “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)” is due October 17th.
“For as long as I can remember, folks have been asking me to tell my story. I wasn't ready,” said the reclusive Stone via a press release. "I had to be in a new frame of mind to become Sylvester Stewart again to tell the true story of Sly Stone.” Calling the story “a wild ride,” Stone was written with Ben Greenman, author of books with Brian Wilson, Gene Simmons and others.
