  • Decades after the death of both John Lennon and George Harrison, The Beatles have dropped one final song
  • Made from a ‘70s demo by Lennon, the other three musicians contributed to the song after his death

MARIAH CAREY SUED FOR "ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU" COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

  • Mariah Carey is facing a $20 million lawsuit over her song "All I Want For Christmas Is You”
  • The lawsuit is filed by Andy Stone and Troy Powers, who allege that Carey's 1994 hit infringes on the Vince Vance and the Valiants’ 1989 song with the same title
  • They claim that Carey's version shares substantial similarities in hook, melody, and vibe with their original work
  • Stone had previously filed a similar lawsuit last year, which was dropped five months later
  • According to documents reviewed by People, the defendants are accused of knowing or should have known that they needed a license and/or songwriting credit

MAUI TOURISTS USE VACATION TIME VOLUNTEERING WITH RECOVERY EFFORTS

  • Visitors to West Maui are dedicating some of their vacation time to the rebuilding effort on the island after the wildfires that devastated the area in August.
