Fans of the legendary Joni Mitchell are in for a treat. “The Asylum Albums (1976-1980) is a remastered box set of her albums “Hejira,” “Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter,” “Mingus,” and the live album “Shadows and Light.” There’s a surprise from another legend inside; the liner notes are by Meryl Streep, where she writes in part of Mitchell that “Her artistry leaves us, ourselves, changed.”
The box set will be available in vinyl, CD, and digital editions June 21st through Rhino.
