Black Sabbath is hitting the road again…sort of. After the success of “Black Sabbath – The Ballet” last year, the ballet is hitting the road for an international tour this year plus dates in America next year. The show includes reorchestrated Black Sabbath songs plus new music inspired by the band, performed live by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.
Here’s the lineup:
- June 12th – 15th – Luxor Theatre, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
- June 19th – 20th – Grand Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg
- July 9th – 10th – Staatsoper, Hamburg, Germany
- June 4th – 8th – The Kennedy Center Opera House, Washington, D.C.
During the opening performance last year, Tony Iommi went on stage and played guitar on “Paranoid,” so who knows what surprises will happen on the new dates.
