Carlos Santana and Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas had a huge hit with their 1999/2000 collaboration “Smooth” and they are ready to see if lightening will strike twice.
The pair is set to drop the new single “Move,” featuring American Authors, on August 18th, and they’re expected to debut it live at the upcoming “WE LOVE NYC: The Homecoming Concert,” taking place August 21st in New York’s Central Park.
“After years of talking about it with my brother @carlossantana @americanauthors and I wrote a song that made it have to happen!,” Rob shares. “Can’t wait for you guys to hear it.”
Santana and Thomas’ first collaboration “Smooth” spent 12 weeks at number one.
