ELTON JOHN 'BACK HOME AND IN GOOD HEALTH' FOLLOWING HOSPITALIZATION AFTER FALL

Sir Elton John is recovering after being hospitalized Sunday night following suffering a "slip" at his villa just outside of Nice, France. A rep for the 76-year-old “Your Song” singer put out a statement saying John is out of the woods, adding that “following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
This isn’t the first time the legendary performer has dealt with a fall. John had to push back the rest of his 2021 tour until this year after he "fell awkwardly on a hard surface.” That fall left his hip in "considerable pain and discomfort," and forced him to have to undergo surgery.
Months later, the GRAMMY winner acknowledged, "I can't move sideways, can't get in and out of a car, and the decision had to be made, because I wouldn't want to go onstage and give less than 100 percent."
