Fleetwood Mac/DLR Guitarist Brett Tuggle Dies

Veteran keyboardist Brett Tuggle recently died from complications related to cancer at the age of 70, and the list of acts he played with reads like a “who’s who’ of rock. During his career, Tuggle spent two decades in Fleetwood Mac and then served as a founding member of the David Lee Roth Band in the 80s, where he co-wrote the 1988 hit “Just Like Paradise.”

Tuggle grew up in Denver, Colorado, and started playing keyboards as a teenager, getting his first pro gig in 1970 with Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. During his career, he also played with Jimmy Page, Rick Springfield, David Coverdale, John Kay and Steppenwolf, and Styx’s Tommy Shaw.
