British pop band Frankie Goes To Hollywood has given fans a reason to celebrate, as it plans to reunite. At least for one day, that is.
The “Relax” hitmakers will play the opening weekend of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in their hometown of Liverpool, England. The performance is set for May 7th. The reunion will reunite classic members Holly Johnson, Brian Nash, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole and Peter Gill for the first time as a group since their 1987 break-up.
Nash said once the concert was announced in Liverpool, a reunion seemed “like a good thing to do.” Frankie Goes To Hollywood will join fellow hometown bands Atomic Kitten, The Lightning Seeds and The Real Thing.
