Freddie Mercury Remembered On 75th Birthday

Sunday would have been Freddie Mercury’s 75th birthday and to mark the occasion the official Freddie Mercury YouTube page shared a new video featuring some of the Queen frontman’s most unforgettable moments.

The video was made in conjunction with the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the AIDS organization founded in the late singer’s name.

  • In other Freddie news… An iconic photo of Freddie has been acquired by England’s National Portrait Gallery as part of their permanent collection. The photo is of Freddie taken by Neal Preston at Wembley in 1986. It is featured in “From the Ground Up,” a new exhibition at The Library, Willesden Green in Brent.
