The National Association Of Music Merchants (NAMM) have selected the recipient of their 2023 Music For Life Award. John Fogerty will be handed the entertainment tech field’s highest prize in California on April 13th.
The Music For Life Award aims to recognize Fogerty’s “lifelong contributions to music and his commitment to inspiring music makers worldwide.” “John Fogerty is a living example of inspiration and character, as a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and artistic visionary,” said Joe Lamond, President and CEO of NAMM. “Honoring him with the Music for Life Award will be a personal highlight for me and a huge privilege for all NAMM members.”
The iconic rocker, who began his career with the legendary band Creedence Clearwater Revival, joins Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Melissa Etheridge and Nancy Wilson who have all received the honor in the past. Last year, NAMM awarded Kenny Loggins with Music For Life.
