A New Carole King/James Taylor Doc In The Works

Carole King and James Taylor will be the subject of a new documentary from director Frank Marshall, who was behind the recent doc, “The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.”  “Carole King & James Taylor: Just Call Out My Name” is set to premiere on CNN first and will eventually stream on HBO Max sometime next year.

The doc will focus on the pair’s “Troubadour Reunion Tour” which took place in 2010. The tour’s name was in reference to them playing the famed Hollywood club when they started out in 1970, and the again in 2007 when they played six nights for the club’s 50^th anniversary. Three years later they decided to once again team up for the world tour.
