Anita Baker has taken to Twitter to express her frustration with the harassment she claims to have received from fans of her opener, Babyface. Or rather, former opener Babyface.
Baker announced that she will continue her tour, "The Songstress Tour," alone. She shared a new tour poster without Babyface's name on it, stating, "After Silently, Enduring Cyber Bulling/Verbal Abuse & Threats of Violence from the Fan Base... I will continue... alone."
So what was the beef? As we told you, fans of Babyface trolled the "Sweet Love" singer after she called him her supporting act. It went downhill from there.
Babyface expressed sadness over the situation, saying he has "nothing but love and respect for Anita." Baker, meanwhile, has confirmed that “appropriate refunds” will be given out to people who purchased tickets to her tour.
