Blondie Graphic Novel Coming This Fall

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Blondie will be the subject of a new graphic novel. “Against All Odds,” a collaboration with Z2 Comics, will come out this fall.
The graphic novel will center on the band’s rise to fame in Manhattan in the 1970s. It will feature artwork from comic book artist John McCrea, and was co-written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti.
“When I was a growing up (and still pretty much, to this day), a few of the things I loved were music, comic book heroes, ultra-cool style, and a wicked, wild, and weird sense of humor,” Conner shared. “Blondie embodies all those things, and when I listen to their music, I can’t not dance.”
In addition to a regular soft cover copy, there is also a Super Deluxe version that will sell for $500, which includes Blondie’s upcoming box set and more.
