Blood, Sweat & Tears Dick Halligan dies: Blood, Sweat & Tears co-founder Dick Halligan passed away of natural causes on January 18th in Rome, Italy. He was 78. Halligan, who played trombone, keyboard and flute, won two GRAMMYs as part of the group, and wrote several of their songs including “Redemption” and “Lisa Listen To Me.” He left the group in 1971 after their fourth album “B, S, & T4.”
