Isn’t he lovely? Oscar-winning actress Cher, who’s also been known to record a hit song or two (and score some GRAMMYs along the way), seems to think so. And the “he” in question is none other than R&B icon Stevie Wonder.

“I hung up, I ran around my room, I jumped on my bed,” admitted the 77-year-old legend, speaking about learning the “Superstitious” hitmaker agreed to sing on her new album. The duo are set to appear on “Christmas,” Cher’s first holiday album (and first of new music since “Closer To The Truth” in 2013).

For the new work, the singer is revisiting a classic from her past. Kinda. Cher is well-known for singing backup at the age of 19 for Darlene Love on her iconic hit “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and now she’ll be taking up the lead mic. No other details have been shared about Wonder’s collab with Cher yet, but she confirmed the two hashed everything out on the phone.
