Cyndi Lauper’s Son Arrested For Sitting In Stolen Vehicle

Cyndi Lauper’s son is in trouble with the law. Declyn "Dex" Thornton Lauper was arrested early Thursday morning in New York City, and charged with felony unauthorized use of a vehicle.
The 24-year-old was found in a car that was illegally double parked on West 140th Street and Broadway. It turns out the 2014 Mercedes Benz C350 was stolen two years ago, and the plates on it were registered a different vehicle.
After being taken into custody, Dex was released, and is due to appear in court at a future date.
Dex is the only son of Cyndi and husband David Thornton. So far Cyndi has not commented on the arrest.
