David Crosby Slammed For Cruel Reaction To Fan Art

Going viral is usually a good thing, but over the weekend David Crosby went viral for the wrong reason. A fan wrote to him on Twitter and said “Hi @thedavidcrosby hope you are keeping well. Did a picture of you…Thanks for the music,” and attached a portrait they had created of him. A sweet gesture from what’s obviously a big fan, and the 80-year-old Crosby reacted…poorly.
“That is the weirdest painting of me. I have ever seen…don’t quit your day job,” Crosby wrote, and Twitter immediately blasted him for it. Users tweeted comments like “this portrait of David Crosby is much more visually appealing and likeable than the actual guy.”
