Dead & Company played a special show in Bethel, New York on Monday night. On stage at Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, the band recreated their Woodstock set list.
Dead & Co played the same set of songs to honor the location of the venue, which is right near where Woodstock was held in 1969. They kicked things off with “Hell In A Bucket,” and went on to play songs like “Easy Wind,” “Loser,” “Throwing Stones,” “Lost Sailor” and “Saint of Circumstance,” capping the show after two sets with “Turn On Your Lovelight,” and “Ripple” for the encore.
“Fifty some years ago, right here, we tried this next little sequence,” Weir told the crowd mid-show. “And it didn’t work so well for us. So, we’re going to try it again.”
