DEEP PURPLE RELEASES FIRST SONG FROM UPCOMING ALBUM

Get ready for a new Deep Purple album! Ahead of the July 19th release of their new record “=1,” the band released the first single yesterday. According to guitarist Simon McBride, who officially joined the band in 2022, the single “Portable Door” was an easy one to create. According to McBride, it “literally came together in five or 10 minutes.”
Deep Purple is playing shows in the UK and Europe for the first half of the summer, and start a North American tour with Yes on August 14th in Hollywood, Florida.
