It’s a big week for Def Leppard fans. Diamond Star Halos, the band’s 12th studio album, and their first since 2015’s self-titled album, is set to release Friday, and to get ready they’ve released a new track from the record.
While the song is out, the official video for “Fire It Up” is coming out this Thursday, the day before the album launches. Two tracks on the new album have guest vocals from Alison Krauss, and David Bowie’s pianist Mike Garson plays on two songs.
Due to the pandemic, Diamond Star Halos was recorded in three different countries simultaneously, with Joe Elliott living in Ireland, bassist Rick Savage in England, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, and drummer Rick Allen in the U.S.
