Elton John is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his fourth studio album “Madman Across The Water” with a reissue, set for release June 10th.
The reissue will come in a variety of formats, including a Super Deluxe box set, that includes 3-CD, 1-Blu-ray and 18 previously unreleased tracks. It also includes a 104-page book, photos, essays and more, with the Blu-ray made up of 1971 “Sounds For Saturday” and “Old Grey Whistle Test” performances.
In addition there will be a 4-LP vinyl set, a 2-CD set with the original album and rarities and demos, and a 1-LP release in blue and white-colored 180-gram vinyl.
“Madman Across The Water” features such Elton classics as “Tiny Dancer” and “Levon,” with the set including a just-released piano demo of “Tiny Dancer.”
