Elton John Determined To Finish Farewell Tour

Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour has been hit with a few delays due to the pandemic – along with some health issues. But he’s determined to finish the trek.
In an interview with “NME,” Elton says he’s “looking forward” to finally getting back on the road, although it’ll be for the last time. After postponing the trek a few times due to COVID and a hip injury, Elton likens the tour to an “express train that hit the buffers.”
After the tour wraps up in 2023, Elton says his creative life won’t stop, just all the travel. “I will do records and I’ll do my radio show,” he notes. “But as far as schlepping and doing shows? I’ve had enough applause. I wanna be with my family [and] my boys.”
