Elton John & Melissa Etheridge Earn GLAAD Nods

Nominees for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards have just been announced, with Elton John, Melissa Etheridge and more earning nominations, in the Outstanding Music Artist category which celebrates LGBTQ artists and allies who promote LGBTQ acceptance through their albums. 

Elton is recognized for her latest release, "The Lockdown Sessions," while Melissa is nominated for "One Way Out." They'll both compete against artists like Brandi Carlile, Demi Lovato, Halsey and more.

The 33rd annual GLAAD Media Awards will be held at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton on April 2^nd, and at New York’s Hilton Midtown on May 6^th.
