Elton John Reschedules North American Tour To 2022

Elton John has rescheduled the North American dates for his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour but fans are going to have to wait a long time to actually see it, because it won’t resume until 2022.

“While the scientists are making great progress,” Elton shares in a video posted to social media, “we’re making big plans to make a return to touring that will allow us to ensure the health and safety of everyone.”

The new dates will kick off January 19^th, 2022 in New Orleans, wrapping April 22^nd, 2022 in Miami, Florida.

And while it may seem far off, Elton insists the shows will happen. “But don’t worry about me,” he said, “I’m using my downtime to keep myself fighting fit and healthier than ever. I’m raring to go.” 

• ONE MORE THING! The new North American dates has forced Elton to push back his two New Zealand shows to 2023.
