After almost two years, Elton John finally restarted his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour Wednesday night at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The shows were the first since the pandemic shut down touring, and Elton later postponed dates again in order to have hip surgery.
Elton kicked off the show with “Bennie & The Jets”, and included the usual Elton hits like “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Your Song,” “Levon,” “Candle In The Wind,” “Crocodile Rock” and more.
It also included the first-ever performance of Elton’s latest hit “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix).”
