Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour kicked off in 2018, and while it took a break in 2020 due to COVID, it’s still brought in the big bucks for the singer.

According to “Billboard,” the tour has grossed $662.3 million, to make it the third highest-grossing tour in history. That number represents 4.5 million tickets sold to 257 shows. In North America alone, he’s grossed $133.4 million from 830 million tickets.

As of now, Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” tour, which ran from 2017-2019, has earned the most money, $776.4 million, with U2’s “360” tour, which ran from 2009 to 2011, and grossed $735.4 million.

Of course Elton may move up on the list. He has "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour dates confirmed through summer 2023.
