Don’t call it a comeback…Genesis shot to the top of the Forbes Highest Paid Entertainers of 2022 list. Between “The Last Domino” farewell tour and income streams like royalties, the band earned a whopping $230 million last year.
Sting took the silver medal with $210 million, thanks largely to selling his entire catalog to Universal Music Group.
So where did Taylor Swift fall on the list? Pop music’s favorite “Anti-Hero” came in at #9 with $92 million. However, that was without touring! And what’s more, she was the only female to crack the top 10. Bad Bunny took 10th place with a cool $88 million.
The list has plenty of non-music artists in it too. Here's the full Top 10:
- Genesis
- Sting
- Tyler Perry
- Trey Parker & Matt Stone
- James L. Brooks & Matt Groening
- Brad Pitt
- Rolling Stones
- James Cameron
- Taylor Swift
- Bad Bunny
