If you ever plan on taking a trip to The GRAMMY Museum, you’re going to be reminded of an iconic late musician. The museum announced it’ll rename their rooftop terrace after “Georgia On My Mind” singer Ray Charles.
The late legend’s Ray Charles Foundation recently donated $2-million to the museum, with funds slated to go towards their Campaign For Music Education. The gift will also benefit the GRAMMY In The Schools programming offered by the organization.
The terrace reportedly “serves as a resource for the museum and the community,” hosting more than 150 events per year. The soon-to-be Ray Charles rooftop also feature a 180-degree view of both Los Angeles’ downtown area and the infamous Hollywood Sign.
