Twitter has been a battleground for many debates, and, in case you missed it, that recently included a war over which was the better classic rock band – Fleetwood Mac or Chicago.
It all started when user @Toffifay76 simply asked “Fleetwood Mac or Chicago?, prompting more than 1,700 likes and 4,200 responses.
“Chicago!!!!!” one person insisted, adding, “I know ppl will unfollow but I have always hated Stevie Nicks. Her voice is like a fog horn… Don’t @ me!!” Meanwhile, another argued, “Fleetwood Mac (BEFORE Buckingham & Nicks) was one of the three greatest English blues/rock guitar/guitarist song factories in history.”
Another added “I’m not sure why this question [exists]. These two bands are not in the same league.. Fleetwood Mac! Ask which between Fleetwood Mac and Eagles. Those are the two!”
In the end most people agreed that Fleetwood Mac was the better band, winning 55% to 45%, while 10% of people voted for others.
