If you’ve ever wanted a piece of Janet Jackson, just know it ain’t cheap. Folks found that out over the weekend when over a thousand items from her personal collection went up for auction. As we told you, that’s how she celebrated her 55th birthday.

The outfit Miss Jackson wore in the “Scream” video pulled in $125 thousand. It was described by Julien’s Auction as, “A black circular ‘bubble’ textured fabric long-sleeve shirt by Dexter Wong, a pair of black patent leather pants, and a pair of black patent leather over-the-ankle chunky low-heel boots.”

Other items that went for big bucks include…

  • Floor-length metallic silver coat with lambskin shearling lining, cuffs, and collar – $50 thousand
  • Silver string bikini and matching pants – $25.6 thousand
  • Jacket from the 1990 Rhythm Nation Tour and 1814 cap and black satin gloves –$81.25 thousand

Some of the proceeds will go to Compassion International, an organization that fights child poverty.

  • ONE MORE THING! Kim Kardashian was able to score an outfit from the collection. She shelled out $25 thousand for the getup from the “If” video – a black crop top and matching pants. She shared it on her IG Stories. “For [Janet Jackson’s birthday because] I’m such a fan I can’t believe I won this outfit on [Julien’s Auctions].” Janet responded with, “I hope ‘IF’ gives you as much pleasure as it did me.”
