Katy Perry paid the ultimate tribute to Carol Burnett with love at Burnett’s 90th birthday special, “Years Of Laughter + Love”. The show featured A-listers like Bernadette Peters, Julie Andrews, Cher and of course, Perry. The “Teenage Dream” singer stepped onstage in head-to-toe Hollywood glamour and crooned “I’m So Glad We Had This Time Together,” Burnett’s closing song from “The Carol Burnett Show.” As Perry sang, a screen behind her showed a montage of classic pics from Burnett’s famous TV show.

Of course, Perry wasn’t the only one showering love from the stage. When asked what she loved most about the show, Burnett confessed, "I teared up a bit when Bernadette and Kristen Chenoweth singing to Julie Andrews [and I] the 'Old Friends' Stephen Sondheim song, and Julie got a little teary-eyed.”

As for Burnett’s legacy, she says said she hopes people remember how good "our show made them feel. That's important."
