Kylie Minogue Almost Recorded With Prince

Kylie Minogue says she had a chance to work with Prince but sadly it never happened.
“Well, I had an almost dream come true, which was with Prince,” told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, explaining that they met in the early 90s after his show at London’s Earl’s Court. Shey says they “just kind of hung out” and she mentioned her album plans and, “he kind of put me on the spot a bit. He was like, 'So where are your lyrics?'"
She says at one point Prince sent his driver to Kylie’s apartment with a tape of him singing a tune called “Baby Doll.” She notes, “That was my almost, we didn't record it.”
As for why it didn’t happen, Kylie says, “I suggested it to my label and I think he would want it to do it all and they weren't into that. That was that,” adding, “I might've been kind of gutsy, but I wasn't... I don't know. I wasn't sure enough of myself to say, ‘No.’”
