Lindsey Buckingham Thinks Stevie Nicks Still Loves Him

Lindsey Buckingham is convinced Stevie Nicks never got over their relationship. Speaking to “The Times,” Buckingham says he’s not sure Nicks has moved on like he has.

Since their relationship hit the rocks around the time they released their hit 1976 album “Rumours,” Buckingham says they never really got the chance to “heal or move on in the traditional sense.” They had to “compartmentalize” their feelings at the time, which he thinks isn’t “healthy” because people can hold in those feelings “for years.” He admits it took him years to get over her, and while he’s since moved on with his wife of 21 years and three kids, he’s not convinced Nicks has done the same.

“Stevie did not have children. She went down a different route and has placed more importance on her professional life,” he adds. “It’s hard for me to know what her mentality is towards me, but I know what mine is to her because [my marriage and kids are] the best thing that ever happened to me.”
