Report: Lionel Richie to return for next season of "American Idol:" Looks like next season of "American Idol" will look awfully familiar. Deadline reports that when "Idol" returns to ABC for season six next year (season 21 overall), all three judges, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry are expected to return, along with host Ryan Seacrest.
