You can find tasty meals just about anywhere, but some cities are beloved by foodies for their amazing restaurant options. So what are the best culinary destinations in the country? “Food & Wine” magazine has some ideas.

• They just announced the winners of their Global Tastemaker Awards for 2024, which include the Best Cities for Food and Drinks in the U.S.
• To come up with the list, “Food & Wine” asked more than 180 food and travel journalists from around the world to nominate their favorites. An expert panel of judges then ranks each category’s winners.
• The best city for food and drinks in the country this year is New York City.
• It’s known for its diverse culinary scene, as well as an impressive number of dining establishments - more than 25-thousand. You can satisfy just about any food craving easily in New York, whether it’s a slice of pizza or Korean fine dining.
