Lots of folks are stepping up their fitness routines this time of year in an effort to keep their freshly-made New Year’s resolutions. Setting those goals is easy, but breaking them is even easier, and it turns out, where you live may play a part in whether you actually stick to your resolutions. And a new report reveals the top spots to boost your success.

  • WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best and Worst Cities for an Active Lifestyle in 2024.
  • They compared the 100 biggest U.S. cities on 35 key indicators of an active lifestyle, rating them on everything from the average monthly fitness club cost to the city’s bike score to the number of hiking trails per capita.
  • Topping the list as the Best City for an Active Lifestyle again this year is Honolulu, Hawaii, which comes in first in the sports and outdoor category.
  • On the flip side, the worst is North Las Vegas, Nevada, coming in dead last in the budget and participation category.
