The coronavirus has affected yet another music festival, although it’s not canceled, just delayed a little. The annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is moving from its usual spring schedule to the fall.

We bet plenty of Cher fans would love to see her perform again, and she just teased fans with the possibility of a virtual show. 

Roger Waters is finding ways to perform for fans while he’s away from the stage. He’s shared a new version of Pink Floyd’s song “The Gunner’s Dream.”

Sting is celebrating the 30th anniversary of this album “The Soul Cages” with a digital-only expanded reissue.

Nancy Wilson will pay tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen on her upcoming solo album. In a new interview, the Heart rocker says the instrumental song “For Edward” is dedicated to the late Van Halen legend… revealing she was “the first one to ever give him an acoustic guitar.”

As we told you, Journey’s Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain are on good terms again, and apparently that’s leading to a lot of new music. In a new interview, Neal says they are hard at work on a new Journey album, and apparently they have a lot of songs to choose from. 

John Oates has lined up a star-studded group of friends for a virtual benefit for Feeding America. “Oates Song Fest 7908” will take place March 20^th and will feature performances John’s Hall & Oates bandmate Daryl Hall, as well as Bob Weir, Dave Grohl, Sammy Hagar, Jim James, Keb Mo, Shawn Colvin, Michael Franti, Big Kenny, Malina Moye and Jim Lauderdale.

The lineup for the 2021 Tibet House Benefit has been announced, and while this year’s event will be virtual, it will still be chockfull of talent. The 34^th anniversary benefit concert, under the guidance of artistic director Philip Glass,  will feature virtual performances by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Phoebe Bridgers, Brittany Howard, Laurie Anderson, Valerie June, and more.

Neil Young is giving fans another live album. On February 26^th the singer will release “Way Down in the Rust Bucket,” a concert film and double album of a 1990 Crazy Horse club show.

Madonna got a chance to escape the U.S. for New Years, going on a vacation to Kenya with boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams and some of her children. Madonna’s still on her trip, with sons Rocco and David, and daughters Mercy, Estere and Stella, and she's shared video from throughout the vaca.

Yusuf/Cat Stevens is celebrating the 50^th anniversary of his classic song “Peace Train” by turning into a new children’s book. The book will be released May 11^th, illustrated by award-winning artist Peter H. Reynolds. 

Brian May is continuing to do his part for wildlife preservation. The Queen guitarist has launched a new fragrance line, with proceeds benefiting the animal welfare organization Save Me Trust.

David Bowie was honored by his friends, collaborators and colleagues with a special livestream over the weekend. Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, Duran Duran and more performed the virtual concert held on what would have been the late music legend’s 74th birthday.

Michael McDonald is celebrating his birthday by performing for fans. In case you missed it, the singer, who’ll be turning 69, will headline “Home Alone 2 – Birthday Bash: A Party of One,” a paid livestream taking place February 12^th at 9 pm. 

David Bowie’s life is set to go down on Friday and new artists have just signed on for the celebration. 

It looks like we’ll be waiting a bit longer to find out who wins this year’s GRAMMY Awards. A rep for the show initially told Variety that the 63^rd Annual GRAMMY Awards, which were supposed to take place January 31^st, were being postponed, with the Recording Academy later confirming the award show's move to March 21st.

Several big name rock stars have signed on for a global streaming event for Musicians In Need. Billy Idol, Poison’s Bret Michaels and Def Leppard’s Rick Allen are set for “The Big Love Benefit Concert,” happening January 23^rd at 9 pm ET.

Bruce Springsteen fans are always anxious to see him on tour, and that’s certainly the case now, thanks to his new album “Letter To You.” But in a recent interview, Bruce let his fans know that he doesn’t expect a tour to happen anytime soon.

Elton John is getting tired of playing the hits. In a recent interview with “Record Collector,” the Rocketman admits that playing the same “great songs” every night can get pretty tiring.
