We told you before that there was a previously unreleased single featuring Beatles legends George Harrison and Ringo Starr on the way. Now, “Radhe Shaam” has officially been released from the vault.
The lost 1968 recording was unearthed by producer Suresh Joshi. It was recorded during a break from the sessions for “Hey Jude,” but was never released because the Beatles were on the rocks at the time.
Diehard Beatles fans should recognize Suresh’s name – he’s the one who introduced George to Ravi Shankar. Suresh says that he found the long-lost master tape in his archives when his neighbor Deepak Pathak came over and struck up a conversation about the Beatles.
