Christmas basically takes over this week’s “Billboard” Hot 100, with eight of the Top 10 songs Christmas tunes.
Topping the list this week is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” nabbing its seventh week in three years at number one. It extends the song’s record as the Christmas single with the most total weeks in the top spot.
Another week at number one also gives Mariah her record-extending 86th week on top the Hot 100, the most of any artist.
- Coming in at two is Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” at two, followed by Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” at three, Burl Ives’ “A Holly Jolly Christmas” at four and Adele’s “Easy On Me” at five, one of only two non-Christmas songs in the Top 10.
- Rounding out the Top 10 are: Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” at six, Wham!’s “Last Christmas” at seven, José Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidiad” at eight, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” at nine and The Ronettes’ “Sleigh Ride” at 10.
