Miles Davis & Stevie Wonder bassist Michael Henderson dies: Michael Henderson, a well-known bassist, and R&B singer/songwriter/producer, passed away at the age of 71. According to his Facebook page, he died of an undisclosed illness at his home in Atlanta. Henderson played with Miles Davis, and a was a touring bassist for Stevie Wonder. He also played with a variety of Motown acts including the Four Tops, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Gladys Knight & the Pips, and more. He also had his own solo career between 1978 to 1986, with songs like "Take Me I’m Yours,” “In the Nighttime,” “Wide Receiver (Part 1)” and more.
