Milli Vanilli Documentary In The Works

A documentary about lip-synching pop duo Milli Vanilli is in the works. MRC Non-Fiction announced that they are producing the new doc, “Girl You Know It’s True,” about the pair, Fabrice Morvan and Rob Pilatus.
The documentary will feature interviews with Fab, the only surviving member of the duo, as well as the vocalists who sang on their hits songs. Rob died of an overdose in 1998.
Milli Vanilli’s debut album, “Girl You Know It’s True” sold 10 million records before the scandal blew up. They won Best New Artist GRAMMY in 1990, only to have to return it when it was revealed that they didn’t actually sing on their record.
