Neil Diamond Sings “Sweet Caroline” At Play Opening

The audience at the opening night of the Broadway show “A Beautiful Noise” got a surprise during the curtain call when Neil Diamond sang “Sweet Caroline” from a box seat at the Broadhurst Theatre, which of course turned into a huge sing-along with the entire crowd hitting their feet.
“A Beautiful Noise” is a musical based on Diamond’s life and features many of his songs as it tells his story. The audience was packed with celebrities for opening night, including Clive Davis, Alan Cumming, Bernadette Peters, and Frankie Valli.
