Neil Diamond’s classic song “Sweet Caroline” doesn’t really hold up in the time of the coronavirus, and one Irish Pub has taken note.
A picture has gone viral on social media of a chalkboard sign crated by Murphy’s Irish Pub in Spain’s Canary Islands banning the song. It notes, “There will be no: touching hands, reaching out, touching me, touching you.”
As one person noted on Twitter, “2020 claims another victim. RIP Sweet Caroline.”
